In the morning visit to Kamakhya Temple- one of the Shakti pith, Visit Umananda Temple – also known as Peacock Island on a motorized country boat, visit Nabagraha Temple- the temple of the nine celestial bodies. After lunch visit Sankardev Kalakshetra- a place where you can see the art and culture of Assam, Science Museum, State Zoo etc. Afternoon shopping at Assam Emporium and evening River Cruise on mighty Brahmaputra (subjected to flood condition) and back to Resort and night stay.
KAMAKHYA: The origin of Kamakhya is Pre–Aryan. Situated atop the Nilachal hill the foremost shrine of Assam. Kamakhya is an ancient seat of Tantric and Shakti cults of Hinduism. The original temple was destroyed by the invading Muslims in their crusade against Hindu temples and idols in the early part of 16th century. Ultimately it was restored from ruins by King Naranarayan of the Koches and rebuilt in its present form in 1565 AD. It is difficult to have even a dim idea of what the temple was like in its original structure; there is no record of it left either in inscriptions or stone relics.
BRAHMAPUTRA: The Brahmaputra is truly an international river. Born in the glacial womb of the Kailash range of the Himalayas, south of Rake kanggyen Tso (Gun Kyud) lake in South West Tibet at an elevation of 5300 mtrs, (better known as Yarlong Tsangpo means purifier to the Tibetans) at Zangmu. It traverses the Tibetan Autonomous Region of China, passes through the Indian States of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam, before cutting across the length of Bangladesh to meet other great Indian River, the Ganges and finally plunge into the Bay of Bengal. The total length of the river is 2800 km, out of which 1625 km length lies in China, 918 km in India and 337 km in Bangladesh. The name Brahmaputra means "son of Brahma" (Brahma- the creator of the earth and Putra means- Son) in Sanskrit and is believed to be the only male river. The average depth of river is 124 feet (38 m) and maximum depth is 380 feet (120 m).
GUWAHATI: The origin of the city is unknown, from the epic, puranas, and explored history it was estimated that it is one of the oldest city in Asia. There are a number of historical features in Guwahati. The Dighalipukhuri is a rectangular lake that was connected to the Brahmaputra, and was probably dug for naval reasons by the Ahoms. It is the gateway to northeastern India. The name is a combination of two words- Guwa meaning areca nut and Hat meaning market. Guwahati is the commercial nerve Centre of the Northeast. After breakfast visit Tea Garden and Tea Factory and then drive to Deepor Beel Bird Sanctuary- a small picturesque and sylvan land that covers an expanse of 4.14 sq. km. More than 120 species of Birds have been listed by the department of Forest, Govt. of Assam. Then drive to Sualkuchi- the silk village of Assam. Sualkuchi has got its own identity in the world map for production of the famous golden Assam silk and we take you to the village where you can see how silk is been made. Visit picturesque GANDMOW- a place promoted by Assam tourism. GANDMOW is also call a place of rural tourism from where mighty Brahmaputra looks so beautiful that remains in your eyes forever. Back to Guwahati on the way visit Basista Temple- Believed to be the Hermitage of sage Basistha (Vasistha), this Basista Ashram is situated on Sandhya Chal Hill, 12km from Guwahati, Assam. The Ashram is an important place of pilgrimage and a place of natural beauty with three mountain streams Sandhya, Lalita, and Kanta flowing. Back to Brahmaputra Jungle Resort and halt.
SUALKUCHI: It has a population around 52,679 and an area of 90 sq kms. As per the census of 2001, the literacy rate of Saulkuchi is 82% higher than the national average of 59.5%. The place is also known as the MANCHESTAR OF THE EAST. Weaving is one of the largest and the oldest industry of Assam It is the way of life since the time immemorial.

Early Morning with packed breakfast, drive to Pabitora Wildlife Sanctuary- famous for the highest density of one horned rhinos. Elephant safari inside the sanctuary for more than one hour. Return to resort and enjoy resort activities like Elephant ride, Pony Ride, Boating, Angling, swimming etc. Night halt at resort.

Early Morning having a cup of tea / coffee, go for trekking (optional) inside Amchang Wildlife Sanctuary. Packed Breakfast will be provided (2 hours trekking) spotting of various species of flora and fauna and varieties of birds. Return to Resort, freshen up and transfer to airport for onward Journey.
