01

Guwahati Airport to Brahmaputra Jungle Resort

Pick-up from Guwahati Airport/ Railway station before lunch, visit to Kamakhya Mandir (the famous Shakti Pith),  visit to Umananda Temple (smallest river island) & drive to Brahmaputra Jungle Resort. Overnight stay at the Resort.

Brahmaputra Jungle Resort to Shillong

After breakfast drive to Shillong- the Scotland of East. Enroute visit Umium Lake, Don Bosco Museum. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Shillong to Cherrapunjee

Early morning drive to Cherrapunjee, famed for being the wettest place in the world. It possesses some exotic waterfalls and impressive limestone caves. At Cherrapunjee, we visit Nohkalikai Falls, 7 sister falls, Eco park, Thangkharang Park and Mawsmai cave which is one of the 100 odd limestone caves in Meghalaya. Afterwards, it is time for lunch. En-route visit to Elephant falls and Shillong peak. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Shillong to Kaziranga

After breakfast drive to Kaziranga- the land of famous one-horned rhinoceros. The other residents of the park include elephants, Indian bison, four species of deer, tiger, leopard, capped langur, wild boar, hoolock gibbon etc and a host of both resident and migratory birds. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Kaziranga

Early morning Jungle Safari on elephant back in the park for one hour. Afterwards, back to hotel and breakfast. After breakfast we take you deep inside the park in a jeep. Then, we come back for lunch and after lunch visit to Craft Village, Tea Garden & handloom center. Again in the afternoon, another jeep safari this time covering the western range of the park. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

 Kaziranga to Bomdila

Early morning drive to Bomdila. Enroute visit to Asia's third largest Orchidarium at Tipi where one can see over 7500 orchids from a collection of approximately 300 species, some of them very rare. Situated at an altitude of 8500 ft. Bomdila offers wonderful panoramic views of Himalayan landscapes and snow-clad ranges. There are beautiful apple orchards and Buddhist monasteries as well. Overnight stay at Bomdila

Bomdila to Tawang

Early morning sightseeing in and around Bomdila. Afterwards drive to  Tawang. On the way visit - the Sela Pass (14,000ft.). Overnight stay at Tawang.

Tawang

After breakfast sightseeing in and around Tawang. Visit to Jong falls, War Memorial, Craft Centre and finally the three hundred year old Tawang Monastery - the second largest Buddhist monastery in the world. The Craft Centre produces some beautiful woolen carpets. Evening free for shopping ,Overnight stay at Tawang.

Tawang to Bhalukpong

Early morning drive to Bhalukpung. Bhalukpung is on the border of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh, it is a place of enthralling scenic beauty. The sparkling river Jia Bhorali which passes through Bhalukpung is a nature and adventure lover's paradise. Overnight stay at Bhalukpong.

Bhalukpong to Brahmaputra Jungle Resort

After breakfast drive back to Guwahati, en-route visit Sankerdev Kalashetra, State Emporium, evening river cruise. Overnight stay at Brahmaputra Jungle Resort.
